Nachdem Alexander Rybak den 54. Eurovision Song Contest in Moskau mit dem Song Fairytalegewonnen hatte, wurde der European Song Contest 2010 in Oslo, Norwegen ausgetragen. Der Contest fand in der neuen Telenor Arena am 25, 27 and 29 Mai statt. Mehr als 125 million Zuschauen haben quer durch Europa und rund um die Welt das Ereignis verfolgt.
